Like many people, my hubby and I are over-committed. I’m not only a full-time blogger, but I also take my dog mom and wife roles very seriously. Taking care of my family is my number one priority. Plus, I very much enjoy my aerial dance classes. And my hubby… Well, he owns a business and is currently working on starting another one. He just graduated with an MBA. And he is doing the heavy lifting on our remodeling, with me as his “assistant.” So, we are busy. Probably too busy. And we rarely take time to ourselves to rest, relax, and rejuvenate…
But that’s exactly what we are doing right now! As a graduation gift (and birthday present–my hubby turns 43 today!), we decided to take a trip to England. Twelve days exploring the beautiful UK, checking out Tudor architecture, and trying out new food and drink! A peaceful time to recharge…
And we need to recharge since preparing for graduation and this trip caused us even more work! So rather than searching for the right words, discovering a good thing, thinking about something ordinary with a different perspective, I decided to take a stroll back… So, fabulous one, rest, relax, and rejuvenate while taking a read over some favorite good things…
The Power of Little – One of the very first good things blogs…
The Bright Side of Infertility – A Not So Mommy… Community favorite…
Lessons from Fur Babies – Reminiscing about our second fur-baby, Prancer…
The Colors of this Imperfectly Perfect Life – Inspired by one of my favorite stories my Daddy used to tell…
Weird Things – A fun blog that made me smile… (And I hope it makes you giggle, too!)
I truly hope that each and every Monday, the Good Things blog allows you a moment to rest. A moment to sit back, relax, and look at something ordinary in a completely extraordinary way. I hope it’s a moment of rejuvenation for you. Because taking time to recharge is one of the best things that we can do for ourselves…
