Not So Alone: A Global Childless Community

While going through our ten-year infertility battle, I felt very alone.  As we started accepting our childless not by choice life, I wondered if there was anyone else out there like me…

Feeling Alone…

This isolation, this feeling of not belonging…  Well, I’m not the only CNBC person who has struggled through the loneliness.  In fact, it’s one of the reasons I started Not So Mommy…  I wanted to make sure that no one ever felt alone on this journey…

A Global Childless Community

What I did not expect when starting this blog, however, was to meet a global childless community.  Yes, there is a vibrant childless not by choice community out there, ready to support, encourage, love, and empathize…  There is a beautiful childless community who “gets it” and is more than willing to help you through the wobbles and celebrate the bright sides of this Plan B life…  A childless community with CNBC at different stages of acceptance, desiring to help those in the pit of despair to climb their way out, helping each other look at things with a different perspective, embracing redefining…

I know this because I have seen it here at Not So Mommy…  Many of you write and give me thanks for supporting you…  Well, I say, “THANK YOU” a million times over for your support of me!

And where in the world is our global childless community located?  Well, in January, I asked, “Where in the world are you?”  And many Not So Mommy… Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter followers answered!  I was humbled to learn that the Not So Mommy… community is made up of fabulous ones in fifteen different countries!  And within the United States, Not So Mommy… has followers from twenty-four different states!  Wow!  Talk about a global childless community!

You might be wondering which specific countries and states the Not So Mommy… community is located in…  Well, keep on reading to find out!

Where in the world are you?

I posted this question on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on 20 January 2019.  The response was phenomenal!

Thank You Brandi! The loneliness and psychological isolation in my present circumstance has been so very painful! I know there are others out in the world, but it really helps to see it in print! I am also in Michigan
