After visiting our first infertility specialist, I underwent surgery which confirmed that I have endometriosis. At the time, my focus was on getting “p.” Because of that, I was solely concerned with how endometriosis affected my fertility. Over ten years later, I learned that endo is much more than a “reproductive disease.” And yet, not one doctor fully explained the extent of my illness to me. Because of this, I am passionate about educating others about women’s health issues. Through my own research, I’ve discovered several women’s health resources, which are linked below.
